The first National Broadway Tour of “big” The Musical departed NYC in 1997 after undergoing a complete script transformation in rehearsals with the original composers Richard Maltby and David Shire.  A few years later a recording was made for Music Theatre International to be sent out in licensing of the new script.  These attached recordings are from that.
